Enabling Delivery To Depot for Consignments

This article shows you how to enable delivery to a depot in your depot network. Before you begin, make sure you have access to your depot network (see Create a Depot)


InfoFor users to access this feature, make sure the permission set is enabled for the user role. For Depots the permission is called Company Depots under the Company permission set.

Enabling a Depots

To enable the depot picker for deliveries on consignments follow these steps.
  1. Navigate to Admin then View Companies.


  2. Click the cog button for the company in the grid then click Edit Company. It is recommended that you configure the setting from the top of your company tree (i.e. the company with no parent company) and override child companies as needed.


  3. Scroll down to the Depots setting and choose one of the following:
    1. Disabled - Removes the Deliver to depot option for consignments
    2. Enabled - Shows the Deliver to depot option for consignments
    3. Inherit from parent - Walks up the company tree until either Disabled or Enabled is found.

  4. Ensure that Share depots with child companies is set to Yes so that child companies have access to your depot network (see How to Create a Depot).

  5. Click Save Company at the bottom of the form.
