How To Set A User in Live Mode

If you would like a user to see live pricing and book consignments with carriers in the system, you must ensure that the user is set to Live Mode

To set a user in Live Mode, please follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Users Page

  1. Go to Admin in the left-hand navigation menu.
  2. Select View Users.

2. Find the User

MachShip provides two methods for searching for a user:
  1. Company filter - Once you start typing a company's name, MachShip will present a list of options. Select the relevant option from this list.
  2. General Search - Enter any keyword (e.g., name, email) and MachShip will return all users matching your search.

4. Set the User to Live Mode

Scroll to the Test Mode Settings section and choose one of the following:
    1. Enabled to see test consignments - the user will be in Live Mode and will also be able to view all test consignments created within the assigned company.
    2. Disabled from seeing test consignments -  the user will be in Live Mode, but will not see any test consignments created within the assigned company.

5. Save the Changes

Once the test mode setting has been selected, please select Save User to apply the update:

To reverse the process—or if you would like the user to be set back into Test Mode—follow the same steps above and select “User is in Test Mode”, or follow the instructions in this link.
