How to create a Carrier Account with Fliway (NZ)

In order to create a Carrier Account with Fliway in the system, you will need to obtain your account's username and password. You can get the said information by requesting it from your account manager in Fliway. 

The carrier requires you to send at least one test consignment to their test system. The test case needs to be signed off by their Transport Manager before they can put your account into production. As such, they will provide you with test credentials first. 

Once the credentials are provided, you can then create the carrier account and fill out the following specific options:
Account Number - The account number would have been provided to you when your account was set up.

Username and Password - credentials provided by the carrier

Notify Delivery Email on Create, Pickup, or On For Delivery - set this to "Yes" if you'd like to receive notifications from the carrier

Job - leave this blank unless the carrier advises you to set it to "job_book2"

Consignment Prefix - this can be any 3-letter prefix you desire

Reference Pools - Reference pools are utilised by MachShip to maintain a count on connotes, manifests and item numbers. The reference pool will ensure that each of those numbers is unique from what we have sent to the carrier previously. More information can be obtained on reference pools here. Fliway requires the creation of just 1 reference pool for the Connote number.

To create the reference pool, select the Create Carrier Reference Pool button at the bottom of the page.
If you are creating a new account, then the Reference Pools will be set to the following fields:

Pool Name - Set as Fliway Connote Ref Pool <Account Code> 
Minimum Value - 1
Maximum Value - 999999 (that is six 9's)
Next Value -  1
Cyclical - No

Should you already be trading on an existing account please set the next available field as 1000 consignments higher than the highest connote number on your previous account. 

Test:

Once the account has been set up and all of the rates have been added, you will need to run a test to ensure that upon go-live, everything will run successfully. To do this, create a consignment - please make Reference 1 and Reference 2 and the Delivery Special Instructions as THIS IS A TEST. Once this has been created please manifest the consignment to the carrier.  Please ensure that the UAT flagon the carrier account is enabled before manifesting so that the consignment will be sent to their test environment. If you receive a successful manifest message from MachShip then please send an email to helpdesk@fliway.com and advise their team that you are starting to despatch your Fliway account through MachShip and that you would like to receive verification on the test file and permission to start to trade. Please include the labels pdf's for the manifest, the connote, and the items.
Advise the support team of the connote number and request that they cancel this to ensure that you are not charged. Please CC: integrations@machship.com on this email so we can help if required. 

On confirmation from the support team that the setup is validated, you are free to begin to consign. You just need to turn off the UAT flag on the carrier account.
