How to Check What Version Number you are Running on the Printing Application

MachShip's Printing Application is designed to automatically update as new releases are made. At times you may find that due to the environment that this has been installed in, that the application will be unable to undertake these updates. 

In order to ensure that you are on the latest version of the application, it is important to check which version number you are running. To do this you would need to follow the below:

1. Open the Printing Application:

MachShip's Printing Application is designed to run in the background and as such it will always be open in the system tray. To access the application simply go to the bottom right-hand corner and then select the MachShip icon


2. Go to the About Section:

You will find that the application will open up select the About option


3. View the Version Number:

MachShip will then provide you with a listing of the applications version number:


Please quote this version number to MachShip whenever you have issues related to the printing application. 

If you wish to know the current version that the application should be running you can check via the Printers page in MachShip. To access this please follow the below:

1. Select Admin and Other Options


2. Then select Printers


If you hover over any of the printer links and look in the bottom left-hand corner - MachShip will advise of the latest version of the application that is available.




If your version does not match up, then you can simply download the latest version and install it. The application will then be all up to date.
