This demo video refers to How to Download, Install and Test the MachShip Printing Application.

 How to verify your Windows Machine/Computer OS Version?

The first thing that you will need to do when looking to install the MachShip Printing Application is that you will need to ascertain if your Windows operating system is 64-bit or 32-bit. In order to do this - 

• Navigate to your PC's control panel.
  
  
  
  

• Search for System.
  
  
  
  

• The section System Type will describe what type of operating system you have.
  
  
  
  

Once you verified the Windows OS version installed on your machine, you may proceed on downloading the MachShip Printing App.

Kindly log-in to your MachShip Account and follow below steps:

• Go to Admin and Other Options.
  
  
  
  

• Under the Advanced section select Printers.

Note: Should your user not have the permission to access this page then you will be unable to successfully access this link.

You will then be navigated to the Manage Printers page, where you can select the download the relevant version of MachShip Printing Application needed for your machine/computer.

Click on Windows OS version link:

Note: The .exe version will only be accessible for the user who downloads and installs it.

Once the link is selected the application will begin to download. This will be shown in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen browser.

Once the download is complete, you may then proceed with installing the application on your machine/computer.

Note: Kindly note that its important to make sure that the following links below are whitelisted on your firewall/computer settings to be able to fully install the printing app and use the standard https port 443 to successfully make a connection through MachShip:

• https://Internal.machship.com
• https://live.machship.com
• https://machship-live-signalr.service.signalr.net

Furthermore, during install, the MachShip Application does need access to the Users/AppData/Temp folder. If your local administrator has locked this down, please request that they enable the application to utilise this folder to pass through the file Update.exe

The Printing Application is also not designed to and cannot be run as a service. The environment it is installed in must always have a logged in instance for it to successfully run. 

How to Install the Printing Application via EXE Version

Once the download has been completed, click the downloaded link to install the application. If you receive the following popup (or similar) please click more info.

Then, click on run anyway. Should you have any concerns about the app don't hesitate to contact support@machship.com

The application will install and then appear as below:

The drop-down will have a list of all printers which are installed on the machine. Select the relevant printer.
