MYOB Exo - Create or Refresh An API Token

This tutorial will cover how to issue a new MYOB Exo token for the purpose of integration, and how to refresh the token should it expire.

All actions inside this tutorial occur inside the "MYOB Configurator" tool (also known as MYOB Exo Business Config) which is an executable file inside your MYOB Exo application install folder.

How to create a MYOB Exo API Token

1. Go to the Staff tab
2. Create a Username and password for the integration - copy/paste the username and password into an email
3. Save, then when viewing the user go to the API tab
4. Tick Allow API Access
5. Copy paste the token into the email
6. Send the email to us

How to refresh your MYOB Exo API Token

1. Go to the Staff tab
2. Search for the integration user and select them
3. Navigate to the API tab
4. Untick Allow API Access
5. Hit Save
6. Tick Allow API Access
7. Hit Save.
8. Copy paste the token into the email and send it to us
