Should the transport provider miss the booked pickup collection, MachShip has the capability for clients to rebook pickups. This will allow you to re-schedule the pick-up for the current or next available window.
*Please note that only certain Carriers are able to facilitate the re-booking of pickups.
How to Rebook a Pickup via the Manifest Grid
In order to rebook a pickup, you will need to navigate to the Manifests Page:
Select Create/Manage tab and click View Manifests
On the Manifest page, navigate as to which manifest/s you want to rebook the pickup for.
Note: On the Search text box, you can locate the exact Manifest ID of consignment/s you want to re-manifest. The Manifest ID is the digits allocated on the Manifest Page URL.

Once validated, click on the cog button on the right side of the screen and click Rebook Pickups.
A pop-up window for the Remanifest Consignment modal will appear, validate the date and time of the required pickup and set any relevant instructions:
Then click Rebook Pickups.
This will then show the successfully re-manifested consignment:
For further validation, notice that on the view manifest page of the consignment, it has the new pickup request that it has been requested.
Note: This pickup reference number will only show for carriers where the pickups are booked via an API call and MachShip receives a pickup reference number
How to Rebook a Pickup via the Manifest Page:

This can be found via the drop-down cog on any active consignment
Select Create/Manage tab and click View Manifest
You will find the Rebook Pickups option in the bottom left-hand corner of the consignment grid
A pop-up window for the Remanifest Consignment modal will appear, validate the date and time of the required pickup, and set any relevant instructions:
Then click Rebook Pickups.
This will then show the successfully re-manifested consignment:
For further validation, notice that on the view manifest page of the consignment, it has the new pickup request that it has been requested.
