How to manage and edit Carrier Reference Pools
Reference pools are utilized by MachShip in order to maintain a count on connote, manifest and item numbers. The reference pool will ensure that each of those numbers is unique to what we have sent to the carrier previously.
How to navigate to the Manage Reference Pool Page
The Reference Pool can be accessed via the Admin, Other Options and Reference Pools.
What is the Manage Carrier Reference Pools Grid?
This will show you the Manage Carrier Reference Pool's grid which is a list of all Carrier Reference Pools which have been created against your assigned company or one of your child companies.
The grid will show you the assigned carrier, minimum value, maximum value, and the next available number.
This breakdown will allow users to manage new reference number requests from carriers.
How to edit a Carrier Reference Pool
To edit a Carrier Reference Pool simply select the relevant reference pool's cog on the left-hand side and select Edit Carrier Reference Pool.
You will then be taken through to the Edit Carrier Reference Pool page where you will be able to edit all fields EXCEPT for the assigned Carrier.
Once you have finished editing select Update Carrier Reference Pool.
