How to Export Grid on the Company Carrier Account Page

What is the Export Grid:

The Export Grid function provides the user with the ability to extract a data file which contains a snapshot of the data which is contained on that data grid.


Navigate to Admin then Company Carrier Accounts:

 

Note: If you cannot access the link above please check in with your MachShip champion as to your access level.

On the Manage Company Carrier Accounts page, click on the Actions drop-down button and click on the `Export Grid`.

Note: By using either of the following: `Search`, `Company`, `Carrier` or ‘Include Disabled’ filters the export will then be adjusted to show just the filtered in data.


 
Ensure the grid contains the data you wish to export. Once clicked, the file immediately begins to download in a .csv format with a naming convention as Company Carrier Accounts_*date*.csv.

Note: This export is limited to the top 4000 records

The spreadsheet file can now be opened in your preferred program for further analysis and manipulation. Checking on the exported file, the following data or fields includes:

  • ID
  • Name
  • Abbreviation
  • Company
  • CompanyAccountCode
  • Carrier
  • CarrierAbbreviation
  • CarrierAccount
  • CarrierAccountAccountCode
  • Status

 

Note: If your exporting as a `Broker`, the exported file has an additional field which are the Markup and MarkupType.
