How to export multiple Versions from Multiple Ratecards

To export out Multiple Versions of Ratecards from MachShip you will need to use the Filters on the Ratecard Page to find the Ratecard(s) you wish to export.

These filters are:

  • Company - This will filter down to the owning company for the Ratecard
  • Carrier - This will filter down to show all Ratecards which relate to that carrier
  • Carrier Account -  Filter down to all Ratecards which are linked to the Carrier Account
  • Company Carrier Account -  Filter down to all Ratecards which are linked to the Company Carrier Account
  • Surcharge - This field will allow you to return any ratecards that are linked to a specific surcharge
  • Ratecard Type - Filter down to just Cost rates, Sell rates, or a Surcharge
  • Expired Flag - Include or exclude expired Ratecards.
  • Company Owns Ratecard - this will allow you to see what ratecards are linked to a company, used in conjunction with the Company field.

Once you have found the Ratecards whose rates you wish to export select them via the selection box on the left of the grid (as shown below):

Then select Actions and choose from one of the available choices:

Through the View Ratecards page, you'll be given the option of exporting either the current or a select Ratecard Version from the Ratecards you have selected.

These can be defined as:

  • Current Version: The version which is currently active and pricing in MachShip.
  • Select Version: The version which either has been or will be active in MachShip

If you opt to export a Set Version then you will be prompt with the Export Ratecards Modal.

Here you will be required to provide a Date that will prompt MachShip to export that Ratecard Version. To set the date simply select the calendar icon and select a date.

Once selected simply opt to export either:

  • Single File: One CSV file exported to show all ratecards one after another.

  • Individual Files: One CSV file will be exported per Ratecard.

NOTE: Once you have selected your option, the file(s) will be downloaded and become available.

If you have exported individual files, they'll have the naming convention, as shown below:

  • <Ratecard Abbreviation> - Rates Effective <Effective Date>

If you have exported a single file, the file will be named as shown below:

  • <Export Ratecards>.csv
