How to Export a Ratecard Version

There are a number of different methods in which to export a Ratecard Version in MachShip. 

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Navigate to the View Ratecards page by selecting the Admin drop-down and click on Ratecards. 


How to Export a Ratecard for any Version

Through the View Ratecards page, MachShip has given the option to export any Version for a Ratecard

1. Exporting either the Current Version or a set Version.

  • Use the filters to find the Ratecard you wish to export:
    • Company - Will populate all Ratecards relating to the Company that was entered.
    • Carrier - Will populate all Ratecards using this Carrier.
    • Carrier Account -This field will bring up the specific ratecard relating to the Carrier Account.
    • Surcharge - This field will allow you to return any ratecards that are linked to a specific surcharge.
    • Expired Flag - Include or exclude expired Ratecards.
    • Company Owns Ratecard - this will allow you to see what ratecards are linked to a company, used in conjunction with the Company field. 


  • Select the drop-down cog on the right-hand side and select to export either a Select Version or the Current Version from the Ratecard


2. View all Versions before exporting the selected.

  • As above, use the filters to find the Ratecard you wish to export.
  • Click on the drop-down cog and select View Ratecard.


  • The View Ratecard page will have a full list of all the Ratecard Versions at the bottom of the page.


  • To export the version, click on the cog and select Export Ratecard Version.


  • The exported files will have the naming convention, as below:
    • <Ratecard Abbreviation> - Rates Effective <Effective Date>

How to export multiple Versions from Multiple Ratecards

Through the View Ratecards page, you'll be given the option of exporting either the current or a select Ratecard Version from any Ratecard.

  • Current Version: The version which is currently active and pricing in MachShip.
  • Select Version: The version which either has been or will be active in MachShip.

1. To select multiple Ratecards, click on the selection box located on the left of the grid (as shown below):


2. Click on the Actions drop-down and choose one of the following:

  • Single File: One CSV file exported to show all ratecards one after another.
  • Individual Files: One CSV file will be exported per Ratecard.
  • Select Version


3. Once selected, the screen will show as below.

  • Single File: One CSV file to show all ratecards one after another.


  • Individual Files: One CSV file per Ratecard.


  • Select Version - A Export Ratecards Modal will prompt.

Here you will be required to provide a Date which will then prompt MachShip to export that Ratecard Version.


 To set the date simply select the calendar icon and select a date. 


NOTE: Once you have selected, the file(s) will be downloaded and become available. 

If you have exported individual files, they'll have the naming convention, as shown below:

  • <Ratecard Abbreviation> - Rates Effective <Effective Date>

If you have exported a single file, the file will be named as shown below:

  • <Export Ratecards>.csv
