A Carrier Account is a specific connection between a company to a carrier. Each account has its own unique set of options and configurations.
The following instructions below shows how to disable a Carrier Account. This will prevent the carrier from returning as an option but does not delete it from the system, providing you with the ability to re-enable the carrier at a later point.
Note: If you do not have Admin access to create carrier accounts you will not be able to access any carrier accounts assigned to your company.
Navigate to Admin tab and select Carrier Accounts
Or on the left corner of your screen under Advanced section, you can click on the Carrier Accounts
On the Manage Carrier Accounts page, locate the account you wish to disable by utilising either the Company or Carrier filter box. Alternatively use the general search text box to find the specific account.
Once you have located the Carrier Account, click on the cog button on the right corner of your screen and select Edit Carrier Account
On the Edit Carrier Account page, select `Yes` to Disabled the Carrier Account
and click Save Carrier Account.
Note: The same following steps above can be done to Re-Enable a Carrier Account, but make sure to set the Include Disabled option to `Yes` on the Manage Carrier Accounts Page to verify as to which Carrier Account assigned to your company that you want to re-enable.
