How to create a Carrier Account with PBT New Zealand
In order to create a Carrier Account with PBT NZ in the system, you will need to obtain an API token. You can get the token by requesting it from your account manager in PBT.
You can send them the following email:
Hi PBT NZ Team,
I need to set up my account <insert account code> with PBT so that I may consign with my new FMS partner MachShip. Can you please advise what my API token should be?
Once the API keys are provided, you can then create the carrier account and fill out the following specific options:
Account Code - the account code would have been provided to you when your account was set up.
Token - API token that has been provided by the carrier or your account manager
Despatch Home Location - set this to be the major despatch location for your account. Please enter a suburb in this field and select from the typeahead/dropdown. For example:
Ratecard:
MachShip hits PBT's API in order to obtain pricing. As such, you can upload a ratecard in the format below. You can also upload the rates provided by the carrier.
Notes:
- Set your Account Code in the Account(Ratecard) column.
- Please set the from zone and to zone as required

Once this is completed, you will be able to create quotes, consignments, and generate jobs with PBT NZ.
