How to Create a Carrier Account with Aramex - My Fastway Integration (Reseller)

MachShip has the capability to integrate with Aramex via the integration type: MyFastway Integration (Reseller).  When looking up on setting a Carrier Account with My Fastway you will need to setup the API thru My Fastway.

Account Consolidation for Broker Customers

If you are a broker or reseller with multiple end customers, you may have the option to consolidate carrier accounts. End customers can use your existing Aramex account (via MyFastway Reseller integration) rather than setting up their own separate account. This approach:

  • Simplifies account management
  • Reduces setup time for end customers
  • Allows centralized billing and tracking
  • Requires coordination between broker, end customer, and MachShip support

How it works:

  1. The broker maintains the primary Aramex account with MyFastway Reseller credentials (Client ID and Client Secret)
  2. The end customer's MachShip account is linked to use the broker's carrier account
  3. The end customer can then book consignments through Aramex without needing their own MyFastway credentials
  4. All consignments are processed under the broker's account code

When to use account consolidation:

  • End customer prefers centralized carrier management
  • End customer does not have their own Aramex account
  • Broker wants to manage all carrier integrations on behalf of end customers

When NOT to use account consolidation:

  • End customer requires separate billing or account tracking
  • End customer has their own Aramex account and wants independent control
  • Regulatory or contractual requirements mandate separate accounts

If you are unsure whether account consolidation is appropriate for your situation, contact MachShip support for guidance.

You will need the following:

  • API Client ID
  • API Secret

To attain this, log in on your MyFastway Account via this link: https://identity.fastway.org/Account/Login

Enter the Email Address/ Username and Password and click Login.

Once connected on the log in screen, navigate on the Administration tab and select API Keys.

On the API Keys screen, click on Create Key button.

Take note of the created API Keys set for your account and click Save.

Please note that you need to ensure that you hit Save as if you are unable or forget to Save, it will not make the API keys valid.

Note: The assigned Client ID and Secret ID are to be used to configure your Carrier Account in MachShip

Once all the details have been consolidated, you can proceed on login-in to MachShip to set up your Carrier Account and fill out the Specific Options.

Make sure that your Carrier Account Integration Method is MyFastway Integration (Reseller):

Carrier Specific Options:

Client ID and Client Secret - API keys set up/provided via the MyFastway Account.

Use Externally Priced Surcharges - if you wish to use surcharges that are priced via API, you will need to set this flag to "Yes". You can create the API pricing surcharges using the MachShip default surcharges or templates. More information can be obtained on creating surcharges here.

Ratecard:

MachShip hits the Aramex API in order to obtain pricing. As such, you will need to upload the ratecard in the below format. Please ensure you fill out the Ratecard field with your relevant account code
